Joyfully answering Christ’s call to share God’s good news with all people, we join what the God is already doing everywhere: making disciples of Jesus Christ from every nation. Each of the new churches which are a part of the PCUSA through the Tri-Presbytery New Church Development Commission serves as a unique expression of, and witness to, Christ’s powerful love and call to a community of believers. These congregations are answering the call to be followers of the living and loving God in authenticity of culture and service.
They are: Presbyterian by heritage and through affirmation of faith; meeting in church buildings, schools, storefronts, and homes; led by gifted clergy and lay leaders; serving and worshiping in diverse languages and socio-cultural contexts.
